This Sunday we are going to continue work on our icons featuring the stories from the Bible that we remember. I found out who created the icon of Martin Luther King Jr - Pamela Chatterton-Purdy made a series of works entitled Icons of The Civil Rights Movement (see the sidebar of her blog for more works) featuring people and events that shaped the story of the Civil Rights movement as it unfolded. You may want to take a look for some inspiration!
