Come join youth (grades 7-12) from Calgary Presbytery for an evening (6:30-10 PM) featuring Rusa Jeremic (National Office). Participants must register online. The 20$ participant fee includes a 100 mile meal, T-shirt, and programme.
This social justice program, unique to the United Church of Canada, calls us to put faith into action regarding the many obstacles to God's purposes of justice, equality, and reconciliation between people and nations within creation.
Such processes are risky and may challenge our understanding of ourselves and God's mission. This time together will explore our invitation to trust in God's grace and power to transform us and empower us to new life.
